Spark Studios is a STEAM-based afterschool program whose motto is to “Try New Things, Get Messy, and Have Fun.” The experiences that Spark Studios provides, prepare students to be creative, collaborative, and comfortable with stepping outside of their comfort zone. This is vital because studies show that most students will step into careers and jobs that haven’t even been created yet. Students ages 8 -14 come to find their place. As we live in this everchanging world, we must prepare our kids for success, and Spark Studios can do just that for students of all different backgrounds.

    One child:  $25/month

    Two children: $45/month

    Three children or more:  $60/month


  • What does a typical day at Spark Studios look like?

    You can register online at https://www.kearneyenrichment.org/youthprogramming registration or in person at the Kearney Enrichment Council, located inside the Old Firehouse at 106 S. Jefferson Street in Kearney, MO.  Our regular business hours are M-Th, 9-2 pm.




  • What are the days?

    You can complete our Bus Agreement here: https://forms.gle/zNS8F6e5tGD7Acpn6, or in person at the Kearney Enrichment Council, located inside the Old Firehouse at 106 S. Jefferson Street in Kearney, MO.  Our regular business hours are M-Th, 9-2 pm.




  • What is the cost?

    5 days/ week - $200/month

    3 days/week - $132/month

    2 days/week - $88/month


  • Are scholarships available?

    We aim to keep our highly engaging camp affordable for the entire community.  The cost is per child, $125 for the week. 



  • Is transportation provided?

    Yes. Only weekly options will be available for Summer Pass.

  • What is your inclement weather policy?

    Spark Studios is canceled for inclement weather only when the Kearney school district is closed for weather or has an early dismissal due to weather.  Spark Studios will still be in session if Kearney School District has a late start, but dismisses on time.


  • How much does Summer Pass cost?

    We aim to keep our highly engaging camp affordable for the entire community.  The cost is per child, $125 for the week. 



  • Does my child have to attend the entire week?

    Yes. Only weekly options will be available for Summer Pass. 


  • Where are the camps located?

    Spark Academy will at the new Spark Building located at 307 S Jefferson St, Kearney, MO 64060. Spring Break Camp and Summer Pass will be at the Kearney Old Firehouse Community Center at 106 S Jefferson St, Kearney, MO 64060.


  • Does the camp fee include food?

    Every child will need to bring a lunch and a water bottle with them to camp.  Daily projects, activities, and a snack are included in the camp fee.
