The Kearney Enrichment Council has programming for individuals of any age. Through our diverse model, we are able to create and impact a variety of generations. We aim to serve families that live in Clay County, MO, and beyond.

Senior Center
The Kearney Senior Center exists to build our community by caring for those who cared for us. We are able to bring several activities, events and programs to the Kearney, MO community because of several dedicated volunteers, individual donors & fundraising activities. firehouse community center
The Firehouse has an inviting party room, kitchen and lounge available for your next family or community event. Nestled in Lions Park, there is plenty of room for indoor and outdoor fun!
YOUTH PROGRAMS
Ignite Your Child’s Imagination at the Old Firehouse in Kearney
Give your child the chance to discover, create, and explore in a place where learning feels like an adventure.
Camp Canopy – Camp Canopy is a hands-on STEAM* summer program where kids explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through fun, themed weekly activities. Hosted at the Old Firehouse, it offers flexible scheduling so families can choose the weeks that work best for them. For incoming Grades 1-6.
Tree Top Tunes – Tree Top Tunes is an interactive music and movement class where children and caregivers sing, dance, and play together in a relaxed and welcoming environment. For ages infant-5.
Discovery Labs – Discovery Labs are hands-on, interactive learning sessions where participants explore STEAM* concepts through guided experiments, building projects, and creative problem-solving. Designed to spark curiosity and critical thinking, these labs provide engaging, real-world experiences in a collaborative environment.
Tech Cafe – Experiment with coding, 3D printing, graphic design and hands-on technology.
