WHIskey Tasting Tour

The
Kearney Whiskey Tasting Tour is a signature fundraising event that highlights the best of our region’s spirits and small-town charm. Hosted by the Kearney Enrichment Council (KEC), this lively evening invites guests to explore downtown Kearney while sampling regional whiskeys and bourbons at participating local businesses.
- Main Tasting Tour (6:00–8:00 PM): Guests follow a tasting trail through Old Church Plaza and Washington Street's Downtown shops—each stop offering a featured whiskey and a local business showcase.
- After-Party (6:00–9:30 PM): Don't like whiskey?--you can still hangout! The tour concludes at Blue Heron, where everyone gathers for live acoustic music, BBQ, drinks (water, seltzers, beer, whiskey), and fresh-rolled cigars.* The purchase of the Hangout & After-Party ticket includes one complimentary drink ticket & complimentary pub mix at the Blue Heron.

Indulge in an exclusive, elegantly curated whiskey tasting designed for those who savor the craft. The
Slow Sip Guided VIP Experience offers early access to the Whiskey Tasting Tour and a more intimate, educational encounter led by a distillery representative or whiskey educator.
Location: Blue Heron (overflow sessions at the Old Firehouse)
Times: 5:00-6:00 PM
Session Length: 30 minutes (2 sessions)
Capacity: Limited to 20 VIP guests per session
